About Us

We took our name from Jeremiah 6:16 where it says: “This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.” We believe God has called us to a similar mission in our day and in our area. “Crossroads places” are places of decision making and direction changing. They are about leaving behind wandering or destructive paths and following the right one. We want to be people who reach out to others at life's critical junctures and challenge them (with great love and compassion) in order to point them in the direction of the hope, healing and forgiveness that is found only in Jesus Christ.

What is it we’re about? In a phrase we’re about “Leading people in growing relationships with Jesus Christ”. “Leading” implies we need each other and that we must not be trying to live our spiritual lives in isolation from one another. “Growing” means that we recognize that the Christian life is a journey involving growth and (at times) growing pains. Finally, Jesus - and our becoming more like Him - is the goal. The Christian life is not about who knows the most Bible trivia (although there are many inspiring things to learn) or carrying the biggest Bible, the goal is becoming more like the One who saved us.
